Louth Under 14s trip to Clare

Louth U14s

The Louth Ladies Under 14s travelled to Clarecastle GAA in Co Clare last weekend and played a challenge game with the Clare U14s.

A big thank you to all the players, mums and to David O’Brien and the Clare team for making us feel so welcome.

We also had 86 girls (four teams) at the recent Under 13 Leinster Development Blitz. There is a very bright future for Louth Ladies football if we nurture all this talent up to senior status.

Weekend round up; U12 finals and start of Minor Championship

News Update: U16 Finals, U12 Finals and Minor Fixtures

Well done to Hunterstown Rovers who won the Under 16 B Shield in a hugely entertaining and closely fought decider versus Naomh Mairtin in Stabannon before the intermediate final on Sunday. A point deep into injury time proved to the deciding score; Hunterstown 5-5 – Naomh Mairtin 4-7.

Here is the updated Fixture List for the remaining U16 finals, the U12 finals and which also includes the Minor Draws.

Clubs who are involved in the Local Senior and Leinster Championships are excluded from Rd 1 and possibly Rd 2 for now.

In relation to venues for u12 and u16 we would ask clubs to please be patient, as the county board are currently trying to secure pitches.

Any games that are postponed, clubs are asked to try and agree a date for re-fixtures. Mid Week is an option as we cannot put games back indefinitely given the tight schedule that exists. Otherwise we will have to refix games and send out as per normal procedure.
