As covid-19 restrictions continue all safeguarding courses continue to be delivered online.
A reminder that clubs can request a date for safeguarding 1 workshop via safeguardingonline@gaa.ie.
The max that can be taken on a course is 24 and the cost is 125 euro which the club pays directly to the tutor.
Alternatively, Louth LGFA can request a date if clubs wish to forward names of those interested in completing virtual “Safeguarding 1” to children’sofficer.louth@lgfa.ie
For those who wish to avail of the virtual Safeguarding 1 refresher course; the program is done online by the individual in their own time. There is no cost for this course.
A person can only complete the refresher course if they have previously attended face to face Safeguarding 1 workshop within the last 5 years.
