First round win for Dreadnots in Intermediate Championship

Dreadnots 3-15 Glyde Rangers 1-03

Dreadnots had a winning start to the Intermediate Championship beating Glyde in first round on Sunday morning.

Glyde started off brightly with an early goal but Dreadnots got to grips with the game and by half time Dreadnots lead 2-07 to 1-02.

The second half continued on the same track as the home team proved too strong for Glyde with Maura Sullivan, Mairead Lynch and Stephanie Cunnighman impressing.

A late goal by Kaitlyn Kirwan topped off the scoring for the Dreadnots as they mark this one down as job well done. They will face Gleann Mhairtin next weekend.
