News Update – U12 League Finals, Senior & Intermediate Championship

Thursday was a good evening for Geraldines as their Senior Ladies confirmed their place in the Senior Championship semi-finals and their U12s won the Under-12 North League Final.

In Haggardstown a 5-9 to 2-10 win over St Mochtas in Senior Championship Group A means the Gers are through to the semi-final as group winners  where they will play Group B runners-up Newtown Blues. St Mochtas will be hoping to hold on to the second qualifying spot they currently hold. The remaining fixtures in the group will see the Brides, Roche/Na Piarsiagh and Stabannon fight it out, all still in with a chance of overtaking the Mochtas.

Meanwhile in Kilkerley the future Geraldines stars played the U12 North League Final against their old rivals Cooley Kickhams, with the Gers winning out on a score of 2-7 to 1-6.
