A busy weekend for the future stars of Louth Ladies football, with six finals in the Under 12 age group.
Congratulations to Geraldines U12 A Championship winners, who overcame Cooley in the final.
Naomh Mairtin were the winners of the A Shield, beating Clan na Gael in the final
Hunterstown were the winners of the B Championship final over St Marys, while Wolfe Tones captured the B Shield beating Roche Emmets in their final.
In the Under 12 C Championship, St Brides were the winners over Naomh Fionnbarra, while the C Shield final was won by Mattock Rangers over Glyde Rangers.
Meanwhile on Sunday the Minor Championship started. There was just one game in Group A with St Brides beating Hunterstown on a score of 6-07 to 4-09.
In Group B there were away victories for Naomh Mairtin/Glen Emmets over The Blues (4-12 to 2-16), O’Raghallaighs/Plunketts over Roche (1-16 to 1-04) and St Marys over Kilkerely (1-09 to 2-04).

Finally, hard luck to St Fechins who were beaten in the Leinster Junior Championship by Kilcullen from Co Kildare.
