The Louth Under 16 Ladies were unlucky to loose out in difficult conditions in Carlow on Saturday in the Leinster Championship. Playing into a strong wind in the first half they went into the break three points down 1-4 to 1-1. A strong second half performance saw the Louth girls score an additional seven points but just fell short on a final scoreline of Carlow 3-4 Louth 1-8.
