After almost 100 days of waiting, Louth LGFA clubs were finally given the green light to return to training last week.
All sporting activity was brought to a halt on March 12th due to the Covid-19 outbreak, while the following three months were spent eagerly anticipating the day when players could once again walk out onto a football pitch.
So after sixteen weeks of no outdoor activity or football training our lady footballers can at last get back to their club settings and finally prepare for upcoming football competitions.
Tonight (Friday) the draws for the Louth Junior, Intermediate and Senior Adult Championship competitions takes place in Dowdallshill GFC in the stand, to allow for social distancing.
It gets underway at 7-30pm.
All eligible clubs are requested to have at least two members of their panel present in playing attire.
