The groups stages of the Division 1 & 2 league came to a conclusion on Sunday morning with the semi-final placings in both divisions decided.
In Division 1 Geraldines clinched the top spot with a 4-8 to 3-5 win over the Fechins, who had led the way up until this weekend. Stabannon’s recent run of good form and St Mochtas win over the Brides saw them grab the other two semi-final spots. Cooley’s win over the Blues wasn’t enough to lift them into the top four.
In Divsion 2 St Pats claimed the top spot with a win over Glyde, while Mattock held on to second place despite loosing out to the Dreadnots. The injury hit Naomh Mairtin/Glen Emmets were unable to overcome Naomh Fionnbarra in a high scoring encounter in Togher (4-20 to 7-5), so Roche/Na Piarsaigh and Killhill held on to the third and fourth places.
