County Board Meeting and Other News

There will be a County Board Meeting in St Marys GFC on Monday Next Feb 11th at 7-30pm.
All Clubs must be represented at each monthly meeting, otherwise they face a €50 fine for non attendance as per Official Guide.

All clubs are entitled to three delegates, one of which must be a player. Otherwise only two votes are permissible. At this particular meeting which will be dominated by Fixtures it would be ideal to have a player per club present.
Agenda and minutes will be emailed to the club secretaries.


Safeguarding Courses

Anyone who completes these courses outside the GAA i.e., the Sport Partnership, must attend the relevant Gaelic Games safeguarding training within a specified time set by the county board: i.e., 6 months.
We advise members to complete these courses facilitated by the GAA. If any further information is required please contact the Childrens Officer


A Club Officer Training Workshop will take place in Ardee Community School next Thursday, 14th February at 7-30pm.

This will be the only training of its kind offered this year. Currently there are 27 officers registered to attend, in order for the workshop to take place we would need at least 40. The registration link is: Club Officer Training 2019 Registration

Balls.ie are looking for ladies club players to take part in a skills challenge on February 16th in Abbotstown in Dublin.

Players will be tested on speed, shooting and agility and the winner will bring home €5000 for their club.
