Louth Under 16s Start Leinster Championship Campaign

Louth Ladies Under 16s begin their Leinster Football Championship campaign on this Saturday, 2nd March, when they travel to Blessington to take on Wicklow with a 2:00pm start.

The Louth Under 16 squad at their early season challenge match versus Fermanagh.

Carlow and Kilkenny are the other counties in the group who Louth will host on March 31st and April 14th respectively
The panel have been training together for the past number of weeks and have played Cavan, Armagh, Down and Fermanagh in challenge matches recently.  The team is back-boned by members of the successful U14 side of 2017 which claimed that year’s All-Ireland Blitz and two Leinster competitions.

They are again are under the management of Martin Duffy, Brian Brady, Gerard Roe, Deirdre O’Reilly, Orlaith Briscoe & Patricia Johnson, and will be looking to get the competitive season off to a winning start against the Garden County
