Well done to our Louth U14 Girls who all proudly represented club and county on Saturday in Newbridge with Lucy Sheridan being captain for the day.
A super performance from these girls winning four out five games on the day.
First up was Kildare who certainly put us under pressure but with the final result being Kildare 3-4 to Louth 1-2, had we have had a few minutes longer we could have come a little closer.
Game 2 saw us play Carlow which we won on a scoreline of 4-3 to a 1-0.
Offaly followed and we were on a roll with another win with a scoreline of 4-4 to 1-2.
Game 4 against Kilkenny saw us continue our roll of a winning streak where we won on a scoreline of 4-4 to 1-2.
Last up was Longford where we hit another 4 goals and ended up with a scoreline of 4-3 to 0-1. The only thing we didn’t win was throw in at the beginning to see which way we’d play but we won’t hold that against Lucy.
The wind was a big factor throughout the day, with all games played in tricky conditions.
