All to play for in Club Championships with one round of group fixtures remaining

Senior Championship

Geraldines sit on top of Group 1 following their win over Newtown Blues at the weekend. Both the Blues and Clan na Gael in second and third place will also be hoping to progress to the quarter finals from this group.

In Group 2 Cooley are in the top spot with 2 wins and are sure of a quarter-final spot.  They played Roche in the second round on Sunday morning in Roche. With a strong wind this was a game of two halves. In a hard fought and very competitive match Cooley eventually prevailed winning by a 2 point margin in the end.  Final score Cooley 3:10, Roche 2:11.

St Pats and Roche play each other on Sunday and will be hoping to claim the remaining quarter-final places unless Stabannon can cause an upset by beating Cooley.

In Group 3 St Fechins and St Brides play each other on Sunday for the top spot, although both will qualify for the quarter finals, following their respective victories over St Kevins.

Intermediate Championship

In the Intermediate competition the top two in each group go into the semi-finals.

In Group 1 Gleann Mairtin are in charge of this tough group following victories over Dreadnots and Naomh Fionnbarra who will do battle for a semi-final place next Sunday.
